Review for Retreat At Fossil Creek Apartments

I have lived in several apartment communites but my time at the Retreat was the worst. Since Rockwood capital has taken over the complex it has been on a steady decline. The weigth room is not even worth the effort of walking over there. The pool is constantly closed. There are always kids skateboarding in the parking lot. One even scratched my car. After complaining to the office nothing was done about this. There are always people who do not live there walking through the complex at night looking into car windows. People who do not live there using the pool at all times of the day when it is open. My apt has a water leak i have complained about several times and no one has even come to look at it. There are many repairs to the general complex that need to be made. I could have lived in section 8 housing and been treated better, felt safer and had my repairs taken care of. These small complaints are nothing however compared to the office staffs general attitude. They are very put out when even asking for the simplest of things. It is as if you are bothering them. I have been treated horribly and with very little respect. At the time i was paying around 1000 dollars a month for rent and deserved better treatment. Whoever is in charge of handling who manages this complex should seriously reting who they choose to represent their company. I have seen tennants and people looking to rent apts wait while office staff finishes personal phone calls, painting their nails or whatever. I feel very sorry for anyone who is still living at this complex and urge anyone contemplating moving into this property to carefully consider your decision and move on. I got out I now have a much better place and an office staff that is courteous and helpful and no skaters in the parking lot.
