Apartment Reviews for Bellagio At Beach Street
Looks good from the outside....

We moved here in August 2010. Everything was smooth, the leasing lady was very accommodating, we were excited about our first apartment together. The duration of our lease was pleasant as well, then we decided we needed a 2 bedroom rather than 1 and thats when the nightmare began. They wanted us to pay another deposit, fine ok I can do that, how much? $350 plus and extra months rent deposit of $795. Excuse me, haven't we been perfect tenants over this past year, never late, never and issue from us. They waived the extra so we paid the 350. We go to move in and the place is a wreck. It was supposed to be "completely refurbished" and "totally updated" IT looked like crap. Everything was filthy, the flooring that was put down in place of the carpet was done poorly with excess glue all over the place. Rusty oven and dishwasher, dust on every vent and anything on the walls. The paint had not been touched up and we didnt even have an a/c filter! I refused to move in until it was clean but we only had 2 more days to get out of the old and into the "new" apt and they were surely not going to give us any extra days for our troubles. No one ever came to re clean, so I did it. No one ever came to fix the floor so I spent 2 hours on my hands and knees scrubbing off all the glue in the kitchen. They actually had the nerve to ask if they gave us the paint could we do the touch up ourselves! After 2 weeks and still no a/c filter i go to the office and she says " oh my i didn't see where you didnt even have an a/c filter" shes referring to our move in checklist and my not so nice email regarding all the things that needed to be fixed. She explains that they just have so many units its impossible to go inspect them before someone moves in and assures me they've never had this kind of problem before. got my a/c filter and went to put it in, wrong size, got another one, wrong size, got ANOTHER one thank god it fit i was close to going postal at this point. The maintenance here sucks, garbage disposal not working? gotta wait two weeks to get that fixed, while dirty dishes are piling up around you. Bathtub drain clogged? gotta wait two weeks to get fixed, all the while taking showers where the water doesn't drain and backs up to almost mid calf before you get out.
