This is the first apartment that I ever lived in my whole life. Not a great experience.
It’s not an ugly unit we live in, but let me put it to you this way; “ I HAVE NOT INVITED MY FAMILY OVER” just because it is not something I want to show off as my first “home”.
When we moved into the apartment, the first day, everything was dirty! Appears that the people living there before us left a mess, and management did not care to clean it. Carpet was disgusting, the tub was gross, roaches every where, dusty, stain on carpets.
We were told by management that the carpets would be steam cleaned every other month, has not happened.
We were told by management that they fumigate the apartments once a month for any vermin or roaches, has not happened.
My boyfriend himself has attempted to fumigate the apartment, but you can’t kill them all with the store product! I hate the fact that I have to share my home with these rodents! Not only have I found them on the walls, couches, pantry, but the rooms as well.
They have not done anything in to fix the problem.
Our extra bedroom has a leak in the closet, and living on the third floor doesn’t help.
Never came to fix it! The air conditioning vent leaks water, and we once removed the panel to see what was leaking and I kid you not, felt like a gallon of water came down in our bathroom floor with debris.
It was the nastiest thing ever, behind the panel; you can notice that mold was beginning to form.
The paint and carpet is horrible, it looks half ass.
The appliances do work though.
The dishwasher,
The fridge, washer and dryer. These are all old appliances besides the dishwasher. Old like 1970’s or early 80’s old.
We recently received notice by management that their has been vandalism at night with cars.
The people who live in the complex aren’t bad, pretty quiet non chalant, but I will complain about the cleanliness of the neighbors and apartment staff. Their will be times that I am walking to my car and in the parking lot, you will find clothes, a McDonalds bag, drinks.
For what we pay, and all the promises the staff makes, NOT WORTH IT.
My boyfriend is actually considering on calling a lawyer because he is to the point of breaking the lease!
