Review for Alexan Yorktown Apartments

This place would have been a great place to live but we got a noisy neighbor who has must have been threatened with eviction because I don't hear from them anymore and that's good. They have a nice gym and pool, and the units are amazing. But they can't provide a basic necessity of life...water!!! On more than one occasion my husband and I went to bed either without a shower or with soap still on our bodies because the water went out. This was the case for several months and you can imagine my frustration when we got the bill and how high it was. This morning we had to break into our Ozarka to brush our teeth but the sprinklers were running full force. So, they care about their appearance of their lawn but not the residents. The office staff is nice and understanding about it all but they still haven't fixed the problem. People need water to live and if they can't provide it then the place needs to close until it can promise this basic necessity. That would put people out of their homes but at least there'd be places to park which is another disaster of this place. There's no assigned parking and there's hardly that many residents since it's so new. But apparently this place is so popular that people who don't live here and don't have gate keys get in and stay...and bring their brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, and goats because if you get there at even 5 pm there is no place to park and people who are actually using this as their primary residence have no place to park. Even the handicap people can't park here because someone with a bike rack took their spot. People park in fire lanes and any place they can find to cram their cars. I don't recommend this complex to anyone valuing their sanity. Don't be fooled by all the glitz and glamor, it's honestly not worth the trouble.
