I had been searching for almost nine months before making my decision to move to Driscoll Place. The staff was very friendly and helpful and most of them stay's in the apartment complex. As Latonya stated, this helps them to address and stay on top of problems and concerns when they arise. The apartment complex is undergoing a complete renovation, which tells me the owners are concern about the look and up keep of the property. For the size of the community, it is very quite, and has a 3 mile walking trail located in behind the complex. As far as security there are 3 courtesy's officers, and a security company with k-9's that patrol the grounds. Even though the management has invested a lot of money into keeping the apartments safe, it would help if the tenants to get to know your neighbors, this helps in deterring away possible burglar and if you saw something unusual or strange you could notify secure or the the office. If it turns out to be legit then it was better to be safe than sorry. The apartments are by far worth the money, especially with full size washer and dryer in every unit. I feel I found a great deal and would highly recommend the Driscoll Apartments to anyone. They are close to I-45, and I enjoy all the trees and greenery.

I have been here about 3yrs now and it was a nightmare, can't wait for it to be over. In these 3years my apt was broken into in broad daylight while i was at work. I get home and my door is just wide open, everything gone. The crazy thing is i live 20 ft from the office!! No one heard anything. A few months later my apt burned down while i was at work(my whole building did). Luckily I had insurance with State Farm. And now my car was stolen. I actually live next door to the police officer that should be keeping an eye on things but he does nothing. Security sucks i hardly ever see them. If u know whats good for u never move here!!!!!!!!

I've lived here for about 7 years. The recent staff is one of the best I have seen. I know it is tough to get in touch with them by phone, but I either e-mail or stop by. The e-mail works the best for me and sometimes they respond immediately or during non-office times. One time I got a response around midnight from the manager ensuring he would take care of the request and sure enough it was. The maintenance guys don't know a lot of english but take care of the problem and fast. I don't have any safety concerns and know that they do a lot to keep the property safe. They have a resident team that walks the property and I have also seen a driving patrol at different times of the night. It's usually very quiet and I never see anyone hanging out in the parking lots. I heard that Arson Investigators found a charred grill in the dumpster near the buildings that caught on fire. Also, they think that the fire started on a 1st floor patio. It could have been caused by a smoker or someone grilling on the patio area. I also got a copy of the arson report from the last fire and it said the cause was an accident. Usually people immediately think that a fire is caused by the building, but these are not that old and I never have any electrical issues.

I've been here nearly 5 years and my experience has had it's ups and downs. The price is good for the size and location. I have had some maintenance issues but they've been addressed normally within 24-48 hrs. I had a bee hive in my wall but they came the next day as I found it around midnight. It is quiet most nights though on occasion hear people talking outside, it's not the norm. My concern is the condition of the buildings and the two recent fires. That causes me to want to move more than anything. Ive never had a bad experience with the staff beyond not being able to reach them by phone at times which is a pain if I can't make an in person visit. These are reasons why I would not recommend it to others. Good luck with your search!

The entire team cares about their residents. Most maintenance issues are handled the same day. All of the neighbors that I have met are pleasant, and you can talk to anyone. It is very peaceful, though it is a large community. They have recently started a program that gets residents involved in helping to community stay safe.
