Apartment Review for Memorial Crest Apartments

When we moved here three years ago the previous management staff was wonderful. They were always helpful and friendly top notch CUSTOMER SERVICE.The maintainence for the complex was beautiful and also very friendly again top notch CUSTOMER SERVICE. The property was sold and the nightmares began!! First they hired a manager that gave the apperance of being friendly but was power hungry and a theif!! She had a problem with the tenants speaking with the assitant manager (he'd been here and we were confortable speaking with him) all of a sudden he wasn't here anymore. When you needed to speak with her she wasn't avaiable! Few months down the line,she got caught with her hands in the cookie jar! She was stealing from the property complex then terminated. We then got the temporary staff and they were clueless as to what was going on. We got a wonderful new manager around the christmas holidays!! He walked to each and every apartment and introduced hisself to one and spoke with you and was generaly concerned. He walked the property in the mornings and before leaving the property at night to make sure all was good. I suppose he did to good of a job,because the property owners transferred him to another property to get it into shap. Now they put us with another nightmare manager! Another fake! NOT A PEOPLE FRIENDLY person at all!! She has since ended the career of 4 assitant managers. They were customer friendly people.She has been instrumental in renting to anyone! She is aware of what's going on here and it isn't good. She tells the assistant to tell us to just call the police and please don't approach these dangerous people. They can't do anything about these people.She can quote the apartment numbers and say the police know and they are trying to work on the problem.The previous property management team knew of a problem with one of the tenants that was selling dope and the high strange people traffice,they gave the people a 24hour eviction notice and followed up and made sure it was completed. Almost all of the apartments have children here that play outside. But not now,it's not safe!! She is just renting to show that she is getting the apartments rented. She knows that drug dealers and smokers hang out on the kids swings and in the playground area. She recently leased an apartment to people that were only here less than a month,the man and woman they knew had in and out traffic and distrubed the neighbors and she ignored all complaints. And this complex features basic cable included. Twice they didn't pay the cable bill. No big deal because at 5:30 they are in their cars and gone to their own homes. You call the emergency number and no one calls you back. If they do it's maybe 1 or 2 hours later if your lucky. And when you speak with the manager the next morning if she is available she is ver curt and unconcerened! Just recently these same people got into andother argument and started a fire within the complex. The people that go to work everyday and work hard to pay rent and bills were woke up to the FIRE DEPARTMENT at 1:30 in the morning telling the tenants to evcuate because there is a fire. People that are related to those people scattered when the police started asking questions. When the firemen were making sure that all of the fire was out,you didn't see them bring furniture or any other type of personal property .They let us back into the apartments about 3:30 in the morning. The same tenant that rented that apartment were no were to be found!!!
The property owners only see what's on paper and trust the management team that they have put in place are honest and trust them to let them know what's going on!!
I wonder when the real people with work integretity are??? They sure don't exist here at this apartment complex.
Hopefully they will find out soon before it's to late!! If you ask for the main number from the leasing office they tell you they have to find it and get back with you. Yeah right!!!!!This was a safe,well manicured and overall great place to call home until 7-8 months ago.
In my rating this property they didn't povide a ZERO stars, because at this moment this is what the now manager deserves!!!
