Totally Unprofessional, - "DO NOT RENT HERE"

I found this apartment though an apartment locator, its situated convenient to the Galleria shopping, Westheimer and Richmond. The apartment complex itself look very good, however this is were the benefits end.

This apartment complex sucks!!!!!! So if you are reading this I would most definately NOT recommend this complex.

Specifically in my case, I moved in on Oct 2003 and initially all was well, then unfortunately the neighbors from **** moved in both upstair and next door. I think the real problem is that the walls are very thin therefore do not offer much in the way of soundproofing, however that asside, the Staff in the complex done virtually not, even after numerous complaints from myself.

The complex is very noisy and is mostly occupied by young tenents who party all of the time.

I also had quite a number of ant families moving in. Once again I had to constantly complain to the complex staff before any action was taken, and even when they do treat for them, obvioulsy didnt go the job right as it was a regular recurring problem.

There were also numerous car break ins as well as a couple of apartment break ins during my 18 month stay there. Their security suck, however on the last few months of my living in the complex they had built a security booth, however it was never manned.

I also heard that the gate was a killer and had damaged several cars. But I never fell victum of this.

The worst point of all is that fact that the complex WILL NOT return you deposit without a major hassle and they will try and hold onto it as long as they can. I moved out at the beginning of 05 and its taken 3months so far of phone call after phone call and still no joy. I have now resorted in looking to take them to court for the $1000 deposit I had to pay (I had to pay a big deposit as had just moved over from the UK and they obviously want to take advantage of this and get me to pay more lot bigger a deposit then normal).

As far as the outstanding monies is concerned I made countless phone call to their office and was alway told that they'd sent an email to their corporate office, or was told they they would call back and would never call.

Let me ask you this ----- "IS THIS THE KIND OF HASSLES YOU WANT WHEN RENTING AN APARTMENT????" ------- Honestly if I knew all these things before I moved in then I would have never even considered them.

If you do decide to move there then just be warned.

Happy hunting.

Since they opened many years ago they have not changed. They could care less about any individual tenants legit concerns as long as the other 499 tenants are paying. Horrible business.
