I have lived at the Sabine for over a year now. Parking is fine only if you pay $50.00 dollars extra for a reserved spot. Rents are a little pricy but you are downtown in a central location of Houston. Maintenance is on top of their game. Apt is nice but walls are thin. You can hear the people above you walking around in their shoes. Unless you go barefoot all the time you dont hear the clanking of the pumps above you. <P>
The work out gym is terrible small and out dated machines. <P>
The biggest problem there is the onsite management. The office staff is constantly changing and no one has a clue about anyrthing. The manager there truly belongs in a trailer park establishment she has no people skills whatsoever except smoking cigarettes and walking around with a plastic cup of cheap wine. She is rude to the residents and the funny thing about her is she thinks she is better then you are. <P>
The property is wonderful. Management is one of the worst . Good luck on your apt search. <P>

I and my wife moved to the apt in february 2005 and we will certainly moving out in February 2006, i.e., after one year. Here are the problems with this apt: 1- the material concrete and wood that is used for the floor are excellent for making noise when people walk with their high heel shoe. You may thing in the middle of the night or at 2 am in the morning why people would use their high heel shoe, right?? an excellent question. the answer is nobody knows. Because this people have no thoughts, thinking etc. Basically it is STUPIDITY. <P>
2- Since we moved the apt, I have been trying to fix neighboor noise problem. As one can guess, only one neighboor needs to create a big problem. Although in my case almost all neighboors surrounding my apt are crazy and just literally USELESS PEOPLE. They dont live like normal human being. They are awake all nights and sleeping during the day. Of course when one does NOT earn the money for himself/herself, and gets the money from their families, that is what happens. They have nothing to worry except being crazier and crazier and then try prove that they are really crazy. Ironically, when you see them outside, you would think that they are normal humanbeings, but of course not. Similar to the expression that, if you let the DONKEY having a costume from gold, it will not change for the DONKEY still being a DONKEY. <P>
3- walls between rooms are very very thin. You can hear all gossiping between your neighboors. Their family problems, and their stupid, just belive me, stupid arguments and disscussions IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. <P>
Telling for complaining about your neighboors' noise to the management is a big hopeless case. <P>
If you are really working, and you have or follow a plan for work and sleep, in my opinion, this apartment is not a correct place. You WILL suffer from noise and then go sleepy to the work. <P>

I am a Hurricane Katrina Evacuee and have loved Sabine ever since we moved in. It's a great place to live. The location is wonderful and the staff has been helpful. Maintenance people are great too. <P>

The girls in the leasing office are so attentive! Whenever I am in need of any type assistance - they are always there to offer their help. It is so nice to walk in to a place where everyone is smiling and it is genuine. Obviously these gilrs love there job because it shows. I am always telling my friends about where I live and encourage them just to go by to meet the staff and that will make them want to live there!
The social events are fun! The grounds are clean! The location is unbelievable!
