Apartment Review for Woodlake Oaks

To start with, when we moved in our apartment was infested with fleas and its condition was filthy. The electricity, which the apartment complex was supposed to turn on, was not working - and we moved here in May and it was very hot. Since we got here from out of town on a saturday night, the office was closed and there was no one to help us until Monday. The hotline number they gave us in case of any emergency refused to help us or alert anyone that worked there.

Since then, our neighbors cars have been broken into in broad daylight and the security guard let robbers in that held up a resident at gunpoint in the parking lot. I don't know why they employ security guards at all because they don't check anyone coming in. They usually won't even lift their head up to see who is driving through the gate.

Last but not least, nothing in this apartment complex works. The pool is constantly breaking. The hot tub by the office I am told hasn't worked in three years. Our laundry facilities, which service 10 apartment buildings, features 3 out of 4 broken washers and two out of four broken dryers. Calls to the office about repairs do nothing. They really, honestly don't care. This is the worst apartment experience I've ever had. I would not wish this place on my worst enemy.
