Apartment Reviews for Verde Woodland Hills - Humble

The office staff is rude and ignore complaints. The trash receptacle (dumpster) is always nasty and overflowing with trash. When residents ask if the compactor can be run, nothing gets done. The office staff is not knowledgeable and always unwilling to help with anything. Their kids are often running around the office. That's unprofessional. The biggest complaint is that they have been overcharging us for water since October 2009 and have yet to make any efforts to correct this. I will not be renewing my lease, and I urge people to stay away from here. It looks nice but until something is done about their billing practices, you will be cheated. I am paying an average of $90 for water now, and they were not supposed to be charging us more than $50.So for 5 months now, they've over charged me and ignored my complaints. I have been very patient. Other residents have moved out in mass. There are a bunch of empty apartments, and guess what? When you leave and don't complete your lease, they will charge you the market rate for rent until the apartment is rented. READ YOUR LEASE BEFORE YOU SIGN...
