Better than I thought ( over a year ago )

Reviewed by: Anonymous
I had heard the rumors about the place being "ghetto" but it's a lot better than I thought it would be. There was a quick response the few times I had to have maintnence out, and every time I've gone in to the office they have been very helpful. The only drawbacks are the overflowing dumpster and sometimes the kids are annoying.

Well, it is about **** time Picerne got a new manager. Kisha Bennett was just as Ghetto as the people she moved in. I think she just stood on the corner and said vacancies. Finally someone who knows how to check real references. We have a new manager who is EXCELLENT named KIMBERLY NIXON. Kimberly is doing a superb job in cleaning up Kisha's mess. I know it is hard on her but she is a real trooper and really cleaning up the property. She is doing a better job than Bush with the country. There is no more weed smell in the office and at least our husbands will be safe since KISHA is not in charge anymore. And you no longer have to wait to see Kim because she is the one there to greet you from now on. It is sad that one of our own can take a wonderful place to live and turn it into a Ghetto in less than 6 months. Kim has made a difference in the last month and all I can say is pay your rent on time keep your kids in after curfew because it is strictly enforced. If you want a pleasant experience start off my calling your new manager Kimberly and she will always have a smile and kind word for you. And thats REAL TALK

I moved in early 2007. The leasing agent with whom I spoke with (KIM) was very knowledgeable about the units. Although the previous review of these townhome stated "Management Turning Place Into Ghetto" She is the person who is turning the place around by weeding out the "bad" people. Yes, there has been several ocassions to where the neighborhood could be classified as "GHETTO" but with her (KIM) determination, it will be turned around. I am already seeing a tremendous change in the atmosphere. At first I did want to move out when my lease expires, however, I am beginning to change my mind due to the fact I am seeing "RESULTS" and not just "TALK", I do truly believe Kim will make this complex a comfortable place to reside.

The kids hang out in front of your door cursing when you dont have any kids their age at your home. They have no respect, management (KEISHA) is renting out to the most ghetto people she can find. She use to pass out letters warning people about behavior but she stopped so now the new people have no idea how to act!!! I wish they would hire someone who cares about the place and not care about making friends and talking loud with them in the street. They took the empty guest parking and put up a basketball hoop and stopped anyone from parking in the guest parking!! If you are looking for a good place to live stay away from here, run from here CEDARPOINT is going down the hill. I was talking to a few neighbors and they were all complaining about the kids and how management needs to warn parents about their kids behavior. When my lease is up we are getting the **** out of here!!!!

I moved in around June 2006, at the time they where changing managment (from what I here this place has gone through quite afew managments). Things where very unorganized (understandable/change of managment). I would see fights with kids and also their parents would get into it. The kids would film the fights. Kids out late at night vandalizing the pool, punished the whole complex. Police and EMR where he almost on a daily bases, Trash bin is horrible, only one trash compacter for the whole complex (way not enough), it's all oer the ground and smells very bad.

Now I've been here for 5 months and this managment is doing a great job getting things together, most of the trouble tenants are being evicted and the police dep. has a contract to patrol. as of now I'm satisfied but can be better........
