Apartment Review for Dakota Apartments

I wish there was a "0 star" rating. This place is horrible. The maintenance staff do not know what they are doing. The management does nothing about complaints. they take their sweet time getting things done. We have been waiting for several things to be fixed/replaced for a couple months and when we complain about it, we are told that it will be taken care of. They aren't. The apartment wasn't even close to being move-in ready when we moved in. Holes in the wall that were badly patched. Stains on the carpet (we honestly don't think they even cleaned them before we moved in), dirty cabinets, appliances that don't work. You can hear pretty much everything your neighbors do. Yes the rent is pretty cheap (utilities are high though because the windows/patio doors don't have good seals on them), but you get what you pay for. We absolutely do not recommend this complex and cannot wait til our lease is up so we can move out.
