Review for The Pradera Apartments

Before you decide to submit application, which is the beginning of the contract process, you should ask them how much they charge you before you get the keys when you move in. You will probably be surprised to find that they will sell you a cheap remote of entrance gates for $50 each and $25 for magnet key to use fitness center after hours. Also, your monthly cost comes with rent plus $10 garbage disposal fee. All of them are usually included in rent or you are just charged but as refundable deposit.

One of the thing that I find interesting for this apartment is that they prepare very well for the legal documents attached to the main leasing contract. It is worth reviewing them before you pay anything since those document reflect their policy and the attitude very well.
I would recommed you to obtain the copy of them beforehand otherwise you would have no choice but agreeing with some of their strange clause. For example, one of them clearly says the gates and fences are never be for the resident s security they are exclusively for protection of the property owned by Gables, owner of The Pradera. They are not resoponsible for the proper operation of the gates. It is oftentimes kept open and closed without control and tens of residents cars have to wait it open in fron of the driveway at night. You could park outside along the greenside drive and walk in to your building if you need but mostly people wwait for long time, which looks funny and reasonable after I read that clause.

Some building, especially westside of the apartment does not provide enough parking space if you do not have your own garage or reserve a carport space.
It is good to walk 50 yards but not convenient if you carry lot of shopping stuff.

You cannot expect the management to call back when you left a message.

Pool area and dog run is excellent. I love the wood floor very much.
