Tenants find the office management to be less than helpful and there have been reports of problematic pest situations, but the complex offers “valet” trash take-out and 24-hour gated security.

The complex is in the neighborhood of several cultural and historical establishments such as the Blue Star Contemporary Art Center - that offers exhibitions and art education - the Alamo, and the Spanish Governor’s Palace. Tenants are split on the overpriced cost. Some find the quality amenities and the view of the downtown skyline to be worth the buck, while others are unimpressed by the costly regulations.

Tenants have complained about neighborhood safety and pest infestations, but a 2010 review reports that a new office and maintenance staff have improved the quality of living in the community.

Located right across the street from Winston Churchill High School, Blue Swan Apartments is within close proximity of several convenient food joints such as Little Caesars, Subway, and Las Palapas. India Oven, Ruthie’s Mexican Restaurant, and Godai Sushi Bar are just some of the sit-down options that are also in the area. The San Antonio International Airport is conveniently situated less than 3 miles east of the complex and downtown is only a 20-minute drive away. While there have been complaints about insufficient pest control and a persistent broken gate, most renters report that the prices are reasonable and find that management is up to par.

Casa Pointe Villas rests along the I-10 and Highway 90 and is central to several recreational spaces, including Martin Luther King Park and Willow Springs Golf Course. Less than 2 miles from the complex is the AT&T Center, which hosts the San Antonio Spurs, the Silver Stars of the WNBA, and the San Antonio Rampage hockey team. The Freeman Coliseum is just next door and is a major venue for expos, events, and concerts.
