Review for Ashley Oaks Apartments

The complex is in the process of remodeling and has done a cheap job of doing so. They used a spray type of paint that got everywhere. I couldn't walk on my patio without shoes and they are only replacing some of the boards on the outside instead of doing it all: the right way the first time. The roof is in bad need of a replacement and my carpet was dirty and torn when I moved in. I have asked them to replace the light above my front door at least seven times by phone and in person and have yet to see them replace it. I had a worker come out to fix a leak under my sink and replace the light at the same time. On the way out he told me that he could replace the light while he was here (not reading the work order correctly) but managed to leave without completing the task!!! Parking is horrible. Although they assign individual covered parking spaces for every unit they have very limited unassigned parking and I usually have to walk a good distance to get to my apartment (since we have two cars). They fixed the gates yet they are always broken. The complex failed to notify tenants of a mail box break-in and vandalism until i had to personally go to the office and then to the post office to hunt down my mail. And last but not least, the pool has many broken lounge chairs.
