Review for Ashley Oaks Apartments

i moved in back in may to a "nwely renovated, arent you excited??" apartment with much anticipation. when i got in the new place, there was paint on my "new" carpet, the balcony railing is loose, shelves in my washer/dryer space are loose, there is a cabinet in my kitchen that was screwed in by ONE screw (really, now, how hard of a job was THAT to finish), my tub was filthy and wont drain even though i myself have treated it because maintenance doesnt exist; my smoke detoector was without a battery. as in, the place where the battery goes was just dangling open for all to see that there was no battery, i have vaulted ceilings, and when i pointed out to the staff that it was illegal to not have one, someone FINALLY came out and ook care of that, but none of my other maintenance requests. the towel bars and toilet paper bars fell off my walls when i put a towl or toilet paper on them...how heavy is tolet paper???
this place is horrible. dont move here unless you appreciate being treated like shit by a bunch of lazy tools who probably shouldnt even live in this country anyway. ive seen the workers with their entire families just hanging out in the places that are getting renovated, and no, it doesnt make me comfortable. and for the record, im hispainc, but i think these indiviiduals probably arent here legally, and that pisses me off.
