Review for Ashley Oaks Apartments

I have lived here since Jan. of this year. I had to move here quick for school and did not do my research. And I now regret it. The maint. staff takes forever. 7 wks for my ice maker and 10 wks for my toilet seat. Misrepresented what the courtesy officer really does. Which is nothing.. My car was broken into and $3800 in damage was done. I started doing research and got an address survey from SAPD. cost me $12. There has been 3 criminal mischief, 4 robbery,7 burglary,2 assault, 1 theft, 1 stolen car, 2 vehicle theft, and 1 fraud case in this complex. the bad thing about this is that the property has 3 addresses. The crime listed above is only for one address. And this all happened from Jan 1 through May 18 of this year and does not include the other reports made. These are only the ones I thought were significant. A total of 298 police reports were made at this one address since Jan of 2004. 38 since Jan 2009. Previous years contain sexual assaults, rape, shootings, forced entry, domestic violence, missing children, suicide, and armed robbery. You can move here if you like, but I would highly discourage it.Please, just do your research.
