Apartment Reviews for Ashley Oaks Apartments - San Antonio

Ashley Oaks has some fine floorplans. Most amenities like three pools and jacuzzi are out of order 1 months out of the year. I have not had hot water in weeks and it's 20 degrees outside. my neighbors have trash piled up to the staircase and the office does nothing. No proactine management here. You are simply in luck or out of luck if you move here. Three years ago I was recommending this place to friends. People that move here use it as a stopover for something else. No pride, lots of litter, screaming kids, dogs that poop on everything and a bad pigeon problem. Worse, management turns there head to it all. Very unfortunate.

I had notice all of the reviews were respect to the previous management company. I have lived at Ashley Oaks for a considerable length of time and I have seen then come and go. The current one is better than the rest. I have not had a servious maintenance issue during the past 20 months.

I absolutley loved my experience in my apartment. I lived in two different apartments in the complex one in phase I and one in phase II and I had pleasant experiences in both. The apartments were clean and well kept, and if I ever had a problem or needed anything fixed the maintainance was responsive, prompt, and courteous. The management helped me when I had comments or needed issues addressed and was very understanding. I used the pool quite often and would take my children down there to swim while I was doing homework. I never had any issues with any of my neighbors; it was a quiet neighborhood in my opinion. My boyfriend and I would walk in the neighborhood at night and always felt safe. I reccomend these apartments to anyone looking for a nice, quiet, safe place to stay
