Apartment Reviews for Lincoln Green
Move upstairs and pray you don't need maintenance

Lincoln Green is overall a really nice apartment complex, until it came to needing something fixed. Something as minor as a sink or mold issue. I did encounter several problems with maintenance efficiency during my residency. One example, well let me make it short and to the point, if you do rent get a second floor apartment. The ground level apartments are prone to flooding in heavy rain(apt.#911) So the first time it happened my furniture, PS2, stereo, and some CD's were ruined. I didn't have renter's insurance so, consequently, I came out on the losing end. The office staff was less than willing to replace the carpet that was soaked from the front door to the back closet. They sent a guy in he pulled up the carpet, took out the padding underneath, brought a few industiral strength fans in my apt. to "dry out" my wet carpet. A day or two later they laid some new padding down and put the "dried carpet" back down. It stunk and smelled like mold for months. And the fans ran up my electricity bill by like fifty dollars over average. The office staff fought and blocked me at every angle, and I thought I had a valid case. They treated my like it was my fault the apartment flooded. Wow!! Yeah it was unbelieveable. So the second time my apt flooded they moved to a different apt. in the same complex and that was cool I guess. Anyway that's just a few incidents, I could go on. Other than that having a washer and dryer inside was the best perk of living here. So if you consider this complex, move upstairs, pray nothing breaks, and stay away from apt 911. <P>
