Apartment Reviews for Vista Landing - San Antonio

I've lived here for not even a month yet and nothing works including my ac.. But even worse they don't even try to fix it.. The maintenance man has been in my apt at least 15 out of tha 20 days I've been here, I feel like I should save him a plate for dinner.. I came home one afternoon to find him taking a **** in my bathroom with tha door wide open while "reading" a **** mag.. But what finally did it for me was tha day he showed up, I asked him to leave only for him to refuse and get valarie, tha whore in tha office, to come back with him to inform me that I have NO right to tell him he can't enter.. I left so I wouldn't have to smell tha mixture of dirty Mexican and rio grand bath water and when I came home all my stuff had been gone thru and cash and my **** was missing.. But tha dumb *** locked tha door when he left forgetting that besides me he was tha only other person with a key... They don't even do background checks on tha people they let work here, they just pull up in front of home depo and take any wetback that will hop in tha back of tha truck... DO NOT EVER LIVE HERE

Moved in 5 months ago, place was perfect. New counter tops, appliances. Only had a few maintenance problems, my leaking water heater, which it took about a week because they had to order a new one, my a/c went out and they came to fix it only 2 hours after putting in the order. The new maintenance team is fast and very friendly and doesn't stare at you all creepy when you walk outside. No complaints here. You get what you pay for, these aren't luxury apartments, they're cheap, low-rent apts so stop expecting 5 star service. And those who put stuff on this site about managers being hoes, well, I have one thing to say: Stop worrying about how others live their lives and worry about how you're gonna pull your broke ***** out of these so-called "ghetto" apartments.

Maintenance fixed all my issues quick so I don't know why mutha fucken ppl who here making up ******** *** lies. Y'all need to get some lives for real, I have kids and they play outside and haven't had no problem. They keep it really clean, and all the neighbors are friendly. All the ppl on here talking **** just can't afford their rent with they broke ***.

I didn't find this out until after I moved in, I was wondering why the parking lot was so full during the day and did a little research. If you are a regular renter though, you don't have any reason to be be told this until you get your lease, which states that they can't lock you out due to the fact that they participate in subsidized housing. The management is nice and helpful though, and went out of their way to get me in quickly. I'll be moving once the lease is up and will make sure to ask this question before I move into my next apartment.

I recently moved into Vista Landing 1br 1bth apt. The staff was friendly and helpful. My apartment was perfect with all new appliances. The only problem was the water pressure in my shower. I had to call the office 3 or 4 times to get it taken care of but other than that, neighbors mind their own business, sometimes the maintenaince guys stare at you weird. I give it a B-

I live here and love my apartment, but the Leasing agent Danielle is SO rude and no help. I put in a work order to find out later she never put the workorder in at all..She is no help..she looks strung out and on something. I also heard she was banging all the maintenance guys. Wow says alot about her white trash!

They do very little or no maintenance to the renter apartments in turn offer low rent rates to lure tenants who will not (or cannot) pay high rent. This is a government investors apartments, They say slumlords leech away the wealth of the poor. In effect, they work in the opposite direction where landlords try to make appealing improvements to property in order to attract more renters. The out side is Beautiful, You will never see the inside of your apartment until you move in the apartment itself and find everything is wrong, every phone call to the office will result in, They will be there at 10:00 tomorrow morning and they never come, I have Called over 10 times in 8 weeks and nothing no one comes. They also will give you one rent price and 2 weeks before signing the lease they will jump the price by $50.00 or more knowing you have no time to look somewhere else, I was told the more I make in income the more they take for rent, I was told one price for my apartment then I was told that we make to much money and my rent price went up before I moved in or signed the lease. This slumlords offer a valuable service for those who care more about price than quality. regardless of the motives they help the poor make the best of their bad situation. These Apartments are populated by poor minorities,called ghetto. You get stuck in a 1 year contract and if you break your lease your credit go's bad. I make good income and had no idea this was government low income property until I was informed by many many good renters who live on this property and are in the same boat as I am.

Went in to see an apartment today and spoke to the manager Melissa. A woman can get "hot" when dressed up, but she is sexxxy! Uhhhhhhggg! I wanted her in the model apartment so bad!

Just moved in and they are under new managment..They are really fixing the apartments up nice with the newer counter tops && wood floors n the restrooms. The staff is WONDERFUL and MAINTENANCE IA GREAT!!! 5 stars for me!!!(:

I have lived there since october & they still haven't came to fix syuff that's broken in my apartment that was broke wen I moved in. I've called like ever two weeks & they still don't come, it took them 5 DAYS to fix my water because I didn't have any hot water to shower or wash dishes & my hot water only lasted for like 5 mom then it goes cold!!! Now my AC is broke & today it day #5 that they haven't fixed it & I call 4 times a day!! It still hasn't gotten fixed & I have a 4 month baby so I have been staying in a hotel cuz it's to hot for my baby this apartment comlex DOESNT CARE ABOUT U & WHAT U NEED STAY AWAYYY

I really like this community, I just left their Easter Party they had for the residents and my son had a ton of fun, and I got to meet a ton of people!! My apartment is renovated and it is a better deal than the other places in the area.

I have lived at Vista Landing for 7 months and I have had a good experience so far. The staff is very nice and helpful and they have a new maintenance staff who take care of work orders right away. I would recommend this place.

I just recently relocated from Houston and was very impressed with the service I received from the office making my transition very easy. The apartment was newly renovated and I really like the interior- it is so mucn nicer than the other apartments in the area.
