Apartment Review for Linsdey Oaks Apartments

Skiles Real Estate is completely undependable. They rarely respond to maintenance concerns. Upon moving in, the areas beneath the sinks were completely deteriorated, and I had to take it upon myself to buy boards to cover it up. I can only imagine the mold. Tiles in the bathroom were broken off the wall and there were holes - these maintenance requests were never addressed. I left the place in better condition than when I moved in, yet they did not return my deposit and are demanding $100 on top of that. Skiles = evil slum lords of San Marcos. Do what you can to avoid renting from them. Or if you must, make sure you get EVERYTHING they say in writing, get every single maintenance request in writing, cover your butt. Because they are ruthless. <P>
