Apartment Reviews for Seatree Apartments
Renter beware

I recently moved out of the Seatree apartments in Seabrook, I have lived there on and off for the past ten years. There was a time when I would recomend them to anyone who asked, with in the last year new management took over and the place went down hill fast.

When I went to a month to month lease,(I was having a house built and was not sure when it would be finished), my rent was raised every month until I moved out. The management had no concern the residents, the maintenace staff, good guys that had been there for years, all left, they could not put up with the management.

The reason I am writing a review here, the day I turned my keys in the office staff did not want to do a walk through with me, I should have insisted. I did take pictures of everthing just in case. About two weeks later I receive a letter from the Seatree Apartments with a bill for $193.00 fo damages and cleaning costs.

I did agree without arguemnt that I should pay to have the dish network dish removed, and the water bill, they were my obligations to pay. The office staff wanted me to pay $1.00 for each lightbulb that was burned out, there were three. I will not go into the whole list.

I went to the office to pay what I owed and to try and get some items removed, I did get some removed. When I mentioned to the staff that I was going to notify the "BBB"and the corporate offices where I work, since they have used the Seatree in the past for corporate housing, they threaten me with a libal lawsuit. I told then that there would be no libal, I would only tell the truth, the facts as they happened. I was told to be careful that I could get in trouble. I felt like I was being threatened by the office staff.

I called the main office " Hall Management" to let them know of what went on in the thier office. I am still waiting for a return phone call.

So a note of renter beware, insist on a walk through when you turn in your keys, take your own pictures and never rent at the Seatree apartments in Seabrook Texas.
