I have lived in a lot of apartments over the last 20 years in Houston and the surrounding area and the only one that is worse than this one is Trails of Ashford. The management changes all the time and the new ones are worse than the last ones, maintenance is a complete joke, I wouldn't mind so much that they can't speak English and can't comprehend what I am saying to them but if they actually do understand they can't fix the problem. I have never had such inept maintenance in any apartment complex I have lived in. I would rather have something not work than to be aggravated by the maintenance people coming into my apartment. My apartment is over run and infested with roaches and silverfish. No one abides by the rules and management do not require anyone to follow the rules. Two of the garage doors were damaged before Thanksgiving and just got fixed in March. The apartments are overpriced, the gate breaks at least once a week and there has been a water leak near the playground for at least a year. I cannot wait until I can get out of this apartment complex. Everyone I talk to feels the same way. I can't hardly go out in the common area without having someone I don't even know ask me how I like living here and when I say I don't they start telling me what they are unhappy about. I know of at least 5 people who have moved out just around in my area. The fence is always broken between the Kroger and the complex. It is obvious no one from management walks the property because half of the time there is some type of water faucet leaking and it usually leaks for at least a month. Then we you renew your lease they want to increase the amount you pay for water. It is also way overpriced. I know people who live in three bedroom houses who don't pay as much for water as you do in a 2 bedroom apartment at Enclave. The walk through gates are not locked. Last summer I saw people drive up, park their cars, go into the walk through gate and go to the swimming pool. It is just horrible. I would never recommend this property to anyone. You also can't get AT&T or Comcast at this property.

I've lived here for about 4 years, and I can tell you that yes, there is noise from Indian residents, but you just have to notify the office and it will be taken care of. There are many Indian residents throughout Sugarland and they are very noisy, dirty, loud, and nocturnal. Just don't lose hope. They don't rule Sugarland, and complain! <P>

I am submitting this review after reading practically all the reviews submitted by other Sugarland residents living in apartment communities. I have lived here for quite sometime and I can tell you that I really do love it here. The apartment is very comfortable and I love the swimming pool, work out room and business center.
The office staff has always been cordial, respectful and attentive to whatever it is that I need. Of course they may be busy from time to time -- what manager's office isn't?
And I can tell you that after my divorce, and until I purchase a home in the Sugarland area, I am very happy here. The maintenance men are always very respectful and repair whatever it is they need to repair in a timely manner.
I believe that residents are treated by how they treat the management in the first place. Now, there was a manager who was given a promotion recently, and she left this apartment complex. I believe that she was rude to her own staff (much turnover) and to tenants. I even noticed a "dry up." So, I think people left because she was just rude to them.
Now as far as neighbors and crime. People need to realize that Fort Bend has been booming and crime has infiltrated into Fort Bend because everyone is moving here from Houston. As far as neighbors are concerned, dealing with difficult neighbors is just the price we have to pay for living in an apartment complex. If you are not one to like people - in general -- I don't recommend you even consider living in any type of apartment complex.
