Review for Preston Hollow Apartments

In general maintenance has been great. Our dishwasher broke, and they not only fixed it by the next day, but they also fixed the resulting water damage too. Even for minor problems like towel racks pulling out of the wall they've been very prompt.

If you like to keep your car clean, the area isn't a good place. There's a concreate or construction company of some sort on Gordon Lane and a TON of dust gets blown all over the place. It's not the apartment's fault, just the area.

There's generally sufficient parking. There's one assigned covered spot per apartment, garages that can be rented, and a bunch of uncovered spots. The only parking problems occur when residents use the uncovered spots (this happened a lot near our building, but not so much around some others), or when there's a party or something going on (which we didn't see very often).

This complex is VERY dog friendly. Since we're cat people, that made for some issues for us. Dispite extensive efforts from the office and maintenance staff to keep all the grass and side walks clean, you still have to watch your step, and don't let kids play in the grass.

The complex is nice, but the surrounding neighborhood isn't all that great. We had more problems with loud music from the next complex (Gordon Lane Apartments) than we had from our own. There has also been a bit of auto vandalism.

There's not a lot of kids in the complex. Which is very nice.

For the most part our neighbors have been reasonable, and more or less leave us alone. There are always a few bad apples, but for the most part it's been good.

The commute to down town is great! We're close enough to I-15 we can get almost anywhere in the valley in about 15-20 minutes.

They CLEAN the pool! Also maintenance keeps up on repairs to the hot tub, pool, etc.

They promised gated access and the ability to pay via credit/debit card, but that never happened.
