Apartment not ready for move-in when promised (it was filthy), so could not move in when planned, which caused hardship. Had to redo contract with different move-in date. No consequences for Parkway Crossing on the late move-in.

Reported alcohol use and storage by one roommate and was subsequently harassed by three roommates. Personal items were vandalized, as well as apartment property. Feared for personal safety. Locks weren’t changed by next day as promised. Couldn’t leave apt unattended. Missed class and work. Would never have reported alcohol except that management said that we would be evicted if we knew about alcohol and didn't report it.

Management threatened eviction if we all "didn't come up with the same story" about the alcohol. Provided management with pictures of alcohol and vandalism; they said I could have done the vandalism myself and couldn't prove that my roommates did it.

Parkway Crossing breached several items in the contract. I provided notice of moving out at the end of the semester and left. They "lost" my checkout sheet.

The day after Christmas, they called and said that my account was going to collections. Weird, especially because my account was current. But somehow, my discounted rent (for signing a year lease) of $255 went up to @265 all of a sudden. Now they claim that I owe more than $3100. I've been asking them for weeks to send me an itemized statement for what they say they owe, but I've received nothing. So now they've sent my account to collections and attempting to ruin my credit.

Lesson learned: Don't live here. If you already live here, don't let management push you around (Kellie Ann and Andrea). They're really nice when you're signing your contract, but because they're unable to solve problems, they turn nasty really quickly. I'm hiring an attorney to fight this.

A couple of good things about Parkway: Most of the other residents are nice people, and the complex is in a really good location if you're a UVSC student.
