Review for Neighborhood Apartments

I have lived in several "BYU approved" apartment complexes in the last 3 years. These are by far the worst managed apartments I have ever seen anywhere. The unremodelled versions (although inexpensive) are seriously lacking in every aspect. Read the contract thoroughly before you sign. They will nickel and dime you for anything that requires their assistance. Without telling you, it it expected that you call the gas and electric companies and sign up under your name (which requires a large deposit). Our apartment smelled like an animal shelter the whole time... girls would never stay longer than 5 minutes... regardless of the mass quantities of airfresheners and febreeze. I am almost positive their contract is not BYU approved and highly disapprove anyone living here. Average age is around 25. Roommates were anything but BYU approved. After you pay rent they will send you a notice saying you haven't paid and will send collections on you if you don't pay the next day. Threatening to hurt your credit. It was unbearable...(my mistake) literally.
