Review Title:   Lies, Lies, Lies And Broken Promises.

My roommate and I had a terrible experience at Citifront. We moved in Nov of 2003 and our apartment was nice. It was brand new so we were the first tenants and everything was brand new. The remainder of the facility was not so great. It was new yes, but it was also very cheap. They obviously saved money wherever they thought they could. As a previous poster noted, the security doors were a joke. the ones on my floor never locked and ever if they did, people could just pull them hard and they would open. Although if the security saw anyone coming in the unlocked doors they told them they would have them kicked out if they didn't use their key. Yet when I ordered a pizza, I had to wait downstairs for the delivery man because there was no way they could contact me from outside. I had a friend of mine just yell outside my window whenever he came over because I could hear everything outside from my second floor window. The pool lights were directly outside my bedroom window and the complex wouldn't do anything to shade the window from the light. The pool lights were always on full blast 24 hours a day. Also the noise from the pool was terrible. I ended up having to call security almost every night to kick people out of the pool after the pool was supposed to be closed. The trash areas were always full of ccrap and nobody made sure that large things weren't being put in the room. Nobody used the chutes as designed. Elivator was a joke and there should have been a stairwell next to the elevator, but instead you would have to go outside into the parking garage, down the stair well and then use my key to get back into the apartment building. When I was hired at a position that required me to live on site I informed the apartment management that I would be moving and that I knew I would be required to pay my rent thru the end of my lease. They told me that there was a waiting list for my apartment type and that they should be able to fill it quickly and then I would no longer have to pay rent. Not only did they not do anything to get a new tenant in there, but they blatantly lied to people that asked if units were available. So I paid rent for 3 months that I did not live in this apartment. The management changed 6 times in the 9 months that I was there. Whether it was Linda or Katherine or any of the nine million other people that I talked to, none of them ever told each other anything that they had told people. I also received a noise complaint under my door while my apartment was unoccupied and the manager knew that nobody was occupying the unit. Overall it is a cheaply made poorly managed apartment community and I would not recommend renting here.
