Review Title:   Do Not Live Here!!
Reviewer:   Anonymous
Review Date:   3/28/2006

This has to be the most horrible experience I have EVER had with an apartment. Ah, where to begin.. We moved into Citifront in the spring of 2005. It looked new and the apartments were a pretty good size. We were mostly drawn to the location. It didn't take more than a few days to learn that moving here was a huge mistake. The security is a joke. Criminals love to hang out here. All of the people who live here, and who we saw hanging out around the community were scummy, dirty, and creepy. Not to mention the bums that are constantly milling around the streets of this area. I'm pretty sure that the people who live above us are drug dealers. We awoke to many screaming profanities fights. There was a huge problem with people's cars being broken into and/or stolen. There was almost always a cop car outside arresting some of the quality citizens who frequent the building. The "security" doors were always broken and falling apart. The door handles would actually fall off and you could no longer get out. A day or two latter the handle would be back on, but only attached by a random screw driven through the handle. There is a nice big parking garage, but you only get one space. Extra spaces are very pricey. Our parking spaces were reassigned three times in the year that we lived here. When they were reassigned- one of the spaces wasn't even on the same level as our apartment. There is virtually no outside parking either. So it's the garage or nothing. There is no intercom system for the doors either. So if you actually have a friend brave enough to come visit you here you have to go outside to get them. Appearance and upkeep is none existant. The place is only three years old it should not have the problems that this place has. The only way they could have made it and cheaper is if it had been constructed of cardboard and spraypaint. There is a little workout room on the first floor. Most of the equipment was stolen or broken. We couldn't even use it anymore because all that was left was 50lb dumbbells. Once when we were trying to work out in there water actually came pouring out of the ceiling fan. Not a little trickle either... probably close to a gallon of water. Which brings me to the next issues... The ceiling in one of our bathrooms also started pouring water. I called the office and they came and ripped out the ceiling. They couldn't figure out what was wrong so they just left a hole in the ceiling for almost two months. We couldn't use that bathroom at all. The maintenance guy is really nice, but nice doesn't fix my bathroom. The AC was broken when we moved in. We didn't know this until we tried to use the AC when it got hot in the summer. After we reported the problem it took them six weeks to fix it. Through days that were over 105 degrees in the middle of July in an apartment building. We couldn't sleep because it never dropped bellow the temperature of the firey pits of hell even in the middle of the night. Not to mention the huge fat ass who spends every day all day in the pool screaming. I really mean screaming. We would finally call the security people to throw him out at night since the rules of this place are never enforced. The noise from the pool area is unbearable. People are always very loud at all hours of the night and the noise echos right up through the apartment windows. There was always half eaten food and garbage laying all over the floors of the hallways. The garbage rooms are a joke because nobody can be troubled to throw the garbage down the shoot so it just piles up in the room. Managment is unresponsive and uncaring. It has also changed at least twice since we have been here. We would frequenlty wait for over 30-45 minutes outside the office to talk to a manager while they were on a personal phone call with the door shut. Please save yourself and do not come anywhere near this place. Don't even slow down as you drive past in the car because you will most likely be shot. I hope this review saves some poor soul the torment of living here because I wish that I could have the experience removed from my memory.
