Officially, I moved my things in here five months ago. I needed this location because I don't have a car and wanted to be close to work. It took me THREE months to move in, after a lot of pushing with the manager and ignoring repeated unreturned phone calls. I put a deposit down for a specific apartment, and the owner said I could move into another apartment and move into that apartment as soon as damages were repaired. He wasn't honest about that at all. It's now the office. The day I came to sign the lease the manager called the owner in the office and asked, "(I'm) here to look at the apartment. Are we still letting her in?" Am I an inconvenience? The only available one he told me about was the one I moved into. Someone broke into the apartment through the screen door but didn't take anything. They may have been waiting for me to come home. The Manager didn't do anything, he just told me to call if it happened again. He has since left, and luckily there are better managers trying to fix this dump up. It took them over a month to turn my gas on, so I was taking ice cold showers every day. The disposal motor was broken. The sink and tub wouldn't drain until about two weeks ago (four months later). There is wax and glass and metal that I'm STILL pulling out of my carpet. The bathroom upstairs leaks water into my bathroom, which is damaging the walls. The walls are not insulated and my thermostat was broken until last week, so it's been pretty cold in here. These "one way mirrors" on the door are not secure at all. You can totally see inside. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom. The outlets in my living room need adapters. Also, the first manager gave me a key after he "fixed" the door. He never returned the original to the new management. So as far as I know, he has a key to my apartment.
