Review for Emigration Court Apartments

I lived here more than two years and it was really a fine place to be. Beautiful view of the whole valley and Wasatch Range from a large balcony which actually made a 3rd room with space for umbrella table and chairs. A huge window/door looking South made for lots of sunshine and light during the day (vertical blinds made for shade when needed) and city lights visible during the night.

Had most of the luxury additions such as hot tub, exercise equipment. tanning room, computer access, and a beautifully furnished lobby. Assigned underground parking was an added convenience.

Management was exceptionally friendly and efficient, always available. The maintenance staff really available and willing to go all the way to provide whatever assistance might be needed, promptly and professionally. Other residents in the building were an interesting cross-section of people: University students, some faculty, medical professionals, small families, seniors, some disabled, and a healthy cultural diversity where meetings in the elevators would often be interesting and informative.

Best of all was the location: walking distance to the heart of old downtown Main Street with quick access to Trax along University Blvd. Good shopping within a block, both Whole Foods and Smith's, in addition to DVD rentals, numerous fast food places, and some other fine restaurants, plus Trolley Square, hardware stores, drugstores, nearly anything a person could ask for, all within a couple blocks. Sad that I had to leave, but times change and life moves along.
