I'm a young single mom and my power went out. Maintainance came over to fix the problem, but then stayed around to sexually assault me in front of my 6 year old child. He yelled and screamed at the man "Stop hurting my Mom!" as I fought to get away. He finally left. I cried and held my child for awhile and made my way to the office. The manager told me that me and my other blonde friends need to stop making up lies about the man. I asked her what friends. She said that we single moms are always making up lies about this maitanance man but she knows that he hasn't done anything wrong. I went to the corporate office and after 5 days of investigating they told me that the man would never make a repair in my apartment again. That was true, but the maint. man was following me around the apartment complex. I told the manager (she called me a lying bimbo), and then then the corporate office who called witnesses (they confirmed my story. They told me that he would stop. He didn't. I just called the cops on this man. He still has a job. He is allowed by management to pick up garbage right outside my house. He tries to speak to me and my son when I leave the apartment. I am currently looking for a new place to live. It is obvious that he has done this before to other girls and he still has his job. Other then that the place is nice. Beware single moms, or any female living alone. The two female office staff only treat men well, and the maintanance men know that they can attack the woman without getting into trouble. I am contacting a lawyer though, so hopefully this will change for future residents. I have only lived here for 3 months, but I'm scared to leave the apartment.
