Review Title:   Maybe Things Have Changed

I live in the north building with security doors and underground parking. I have a dedicated parking stall out of the weather, which has been excellent as I always have a dry place to park. Im a pet owner and find the staff and other tenants to be very friendly about my pet. I will admit my pet is very well behaved.

The unit was clean prior to moving in, including the carpeting. The standard grayish-white paint in the common halls and on all the apartment walls is pretty dismal. But, the landlord supplied me with several paint chips to choose from and enough paint to change every room in my unit free of charge. I did the work myself but could have paid a small fee to have the painting done for me.

As for the staff, the onsite manager and assistant manager have both been polite and friendly, as have the two maintenance workers I dealt with. In fact, I had a need to visit the office last week and I left feeling impressed with the Managers politeness and professionalism.

I read the other reviews knocking the staff, and I can only conclude their must have been different staff members in recent years. I don't know what the other buildings are like, but the secure north building has been okay. Also, I found the rent to be below everything I looked at in the city center per square foot (If the landlord reads this, dont go getting any ideas about raising rates. Theres a reason you have an appeal over some of the more elegant downtown complexes).

My biggest complaint is the lack of built in lighting, and the walls are bit thin. But thats typical of most apartment complexes.
