Myself and my fiancee moved in on short notice trying to get away from the parents. Bad move. First day in, 23 maintenance requests, 4 of them critical. Response time? About 3 weeks. Fixed? No, just touched-up over it until it happened again. There was a large dent in the ceiling above the shower covered in mold. Maintenance refused to look at it, saying there was nothing wrong. Turns out the guy upstairs had a leaky sewage line, and raw sewage was running into our shower pipes and wall. Eventually, the ceiling caved in. Maintenance tried charging $3,000 to us for "failure to report." This is after I made them and just about everyone at the front of the office know about it several times. I sued the Metro Protection Agency (security patrol service for property) and settled out of court. Reason? They took of advantage of my fiancee's psychological health issues, and terrorized her until she almost killed herself. She had to be admitted to a psych facility. I work in protection services. The guards and the clubhouse monitors/magagement used to try to call the police saying there was another security officer on the property, and he (myself) is unwanted there. They used to tell me I can't wear my uniform and duty gear belt in my own house because they feel uncomfortable with it. We moved out on the date our lease was up. The girl in the office checked our record and said we were cleared for everything and owed no money. Three months later, we get a letter from a collection agency saying we owe Sky Harbor $300. Reason? "Unpaid rent." I paid my rent 1 month ahead every month. I am still going to be fighting them in court for the low credit score after this went to collections.......
