From what I've heard of other places in the area, the apartment seems to be pretty good. Parking is free in the back on a first come-first served basis (but a permit is needed) and there is usually parking out front that is free for 2 hours until 6pm and then it is free until 8am. The ability to walk to almost anywhere is great and being right downtown means the trax system is easily accessible. The management here is fairly responsive and I have usually gotten things fixed within 3 days after I mention something. It is an older building (they have two buildings, right next door to each other) so there are some problems but for the price it is good (priced ~$460-500 + gas + elec). They do allow cats with no additional fee which I found nice. There is a security car that drives by once or twice a night and they have a well lit parking lot as well as locks on the outer doors to the apartment complex. I have not had any bug problems or mice or anything like that. The laundry room is small and could be cleaner but it is useable. The higher ups do also own The Covey but this place seems to be better than the complaints coming from the covey. My biggest complaint is the way they bill the gas...which is basically dividing it "evenly" between all the apartments with a cap of $80. This means that you can't control the price your gas bill will be each month. The noise level seems to be pretty low with individual apartments providing all of it instead of an overall noise from everyone.
