Review for Country Lake Apartments

After Country Lake having had a full month to prepare for us to move in, after we had driven all night to get there we entered an apartment with soaking wet, dirty, smelly carpet. They had promised us that it would be new carpet, and it wasn't. After a huge hassle, they replaced the carpet -- but wait!! There's more! If you don't love listening to loud rap, hip-hop, and Mexican music, you don't want to live here. The noise is constant. The police are called to this location frequently, and frequently it ends up entailing taped off areas and CSI coming. We realized to our dismay, that 2 floors down from us someone was dealing drugs, given that there were people coming and going at all hours of the day and night, staying for a few minutes, then zipping away. Also, people hang outside their apartments drinking and partying. We didn't feel safe at all, the places are run down, office staff are useless. Plus, the kitchen is TINY. On the plus side, they're inexpensive, and you have a 30 day time frame if you want to break your lease with no loss. We took it and got out of there, pronto!
