I am happy I found thornhill…. They saved me tons of money… I had been staying in a hotel since I was going to be here for only 4 months, I couldn’t find an apartment complex that would offer a short lease. Luckily, I found thornhill. They offered me a lease as short as 2 months. I am so happy with my apartment here I am upset that I have to leace. I haven’t had any issues with noise, neighbors, or maintenance problems. I highly recommend thornhill to everyone!!!!

I stay here all the time and i love it. They rent out some of their apartments as hotel rooms. They are always clean and are HUGE for the price. We always stay here when we are in town for a show.
For the reviews that are upset that its not a standard hotel... i am not sure what you were expecting when you booked... but it looks like an apartment complex on all the sites i have used....

I have been living at Thornhill Park (Springhill when I moved) for about 4 years now. I have enjoyed living here the entire time. The girls in the office are always very nice and helpful. The maintenance men are very helpful, and have helped me with several things around my apartment.
Recently, I fell and my doctor told me and that I no longer live on the 2nd floor… I was worried I would have to leave Thornhill, but they helped me transfer to a first floor apartment of the same style.
Thornhill has recently made a couple big changes, at first I was worried, but they have gone over amazingly well…. First they went to only online payments, then they started going non-smoking…. And now they are accepting pets. I haven’t seen any snaffuus from the changes.
I am very please with my residency here at Thornhill Park… I hope I can have many more.

I have lived at here for several years and have been pleased with my experience. They have always been willing to work with me when I get antsy and are looking to move. They have let me change apartments here a couple times and I have never had any issues.

In my very first apartment there was a leak from the ac vents, but maintenance came out and fixed it right away (even tho it was a Saturday)

The girls in the office are great, I love that they are open late.

They recently went to an all online rent payment system. I was worried at first, but now I love it.

I wish my parking stall was closer to my apartment,but there are always plenty of “guest” parking open, so I just park there!

I am glad that I finally got to move in here. I have been looking at this complex for a while as I work across the street at petsmart. They have always said tha they were pet free. However, they are now accepting pets!!! I put down my deposit and I am set to move in next week!!! They don’t have a weight limit either, which means my chocolate lab can come with me. Most places do allow him because he is over 50 lbs. This complex allows any size, they just have breed restrictions.
I haven’t moved in yet, however the office staff has been great (they even gave my dog a treat when we toured the model). They made the deposit process very easy and the application was approved the next day… waaaaaay faster than the last place I lived.
So far I am happy! I will update my review if anything changes!

I have enjoyed living here so far. I didn’t have the best neighbors when I first moved in, but they were kicked out and life has been much better.
I had an issue with my AC during the warmer months, but it turned out to be my fault… I was running it incorrectly and causing the pipes to freeze… I have always had a swamp cooler where you could just run and run it with no problems…. Central air is apparently different, but I know for next summer.
I moved in on a special and signed a year lease, I am glad cause the prices have gone up.. but that’s to be expected… like everything else.

I found these apartments on Apt ratings website. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try and It hold up to the great reviews and blows the bad reviews out of the water. I am not sure why they got the bad reviews, this property is great! The property is beautiful and lively.
The office staff was nothing but helpful and professional, I put my deposit down on the spot. They showed me the model which is gorgeous, then they took me to the ACTUAL UNIT I would be moving into. This surprised me, usually apartment complexes play the “bait and switch” but I got to see the apartment I will be moving into!!! Of course it wasn’t as pretty as the model, but it still looked great… it did smell of smoke tho.. The office staff said that they do allow smoking, which is unfortunate. They said they had a non-smoking building, but nothing was open when I needed it.
I haven’t had any issues so far, the move in did take a little longer than I would have liked, and their lease seemed long (it took about 45 minutes to get keys). As of now, Thornhill gets 5 stars in my book. I will update my review if anything changes. But right now, I’m happy!

My husband and I really miss living here. The management and office staff are fantastic. They really cared about keeping this place in order and the renters happy.

We never once had a problem living here.

We have only 1 complaint no washer and dryer in our unit. That's a small price to pay, however, for living in a fantastic apartment complex with capable, reliable staff. If our work wasn't so far, we would still be living here.

When I found Thornhill I thought it was just going to be another complex that I live at for my lease then move… I have been surprised. I love it here. i don’t have to go very far to find anything I need. Walmart is walking distance away and there are tons of place across redwood.
The office staff is always friendly and get maintence to my apartment when I need it. I never have to have maintence come out more than once, they always fix the issue the first time. The maintence team even wore little booties when they came in to do their inspection.
I just got my letter for my renewal and yes my rent is going up, but I am willing to pay the extra just to stay here. I think it is worth it.
My one complaint (but I will find it anywhere I go) is the noise from my neighbors. I can hear doors slam and their tv if it is up loud. I don’t think this would be a huge issue except I work nights so I am trying to sleep when everyone else is up and moving about.

the office was great and worked with me even though i have very little credit. they offered me a discount becuase i am a student. going to slcc and im just down the street, only 1 bus to ride = awesome.

this may not be the place i live forever, but while i am in school this works perfectly.

This community has everything I could ask for. The gym is open until 11pm so I can run on the treadmill after work. My apartment is great, I have a washer and dryer in my kitchen, much easier than going to the laudry center. Also, they allow you to pay rent until the 5th (really nice when im in a bind and waiting for Friday). Im happy, I think im gonna stay here a while

Thornhill has become my new home. I recently decided to move back to Utah to be close to family. I was looking for an apartment that was in the Taylorsville area that I was used to. I’m glad I found Thornhill. I looked at tons of apartments in the area and none of them made me feel comfortable like this one did.

The office staff helped me with the transition, I was still living in Idaho when I completed the application, I was able to complete the whole process over the internet. When I showed up with my moving truck, the office had everything prepared and ready for me. They even gave me a gift with soda and pizza so I didn’t have to buy dinner that night!

The apartment was clean and just right for me. It had the furniture I requested and everything was working great. The carpet was a little worn, and I think the person before me was a smoker, but nothing can be perfect. \

Overall I am very pleased with my new home, I even convinced one of my friends to move in here too!

I moved in a few weeks ago… and all I can say is Wow…. Im honestly surprised with my experience here.
I was wondering when the rent prices were kinda low, and its next to a large freeway and street… however I love my new apartment. Low rent = more money for me!!
I never hear noise from the freeway (big concern for me. im a light sleeper), I haven’t had any issues with my apartment or management staff.
I was a little worried when I heard they were changing names, but come to find out the name is all that changed, same management etc; made me really happy to hear!

I love my new apartment! Its soo cute and cozy! Having my own washer and dryer is awesome!! I was surprised at how fast I was able to move in, I submitted by application less than a week ago and I am already in!
The apartment was clean when I moved in, there was a small problem with my a/c not working, but maintenance came out the same day to fix it, and now it works great.

Living at springhill has been great. They have all the things I was looking for. They were so accomadating when It came to signing my lease, since my husband was working in a different state at the time, they helped us by allowing us to fax the lease to him! It was so helpful! They even offered a student discount when they heard i was going to slcc. Our apartment was clean and well maintained, the only downside I have found is they don’t allow pets, so we cant get the dog we wanted. But I gladly decided to wait on getting the dog after the office staff was so great and friendly, we can get a dog when we get a house! I can definatley say that we are staying here until we decide to buy a house! I would highly recommend springhill to anyone. One of my friends is already looking it to move here!

Springhill is great!! Im staying as long as possible!!!
I love that they do credit and criminal background checks, I know that im not going to be living next to a sex offender, my kids are safe here!! My apartment was spotless when I moved in, and I haven’t had a problem with maintenance; even when I ask small favors, like installing my personal showerhead, or changing a/c filters!
No pets is a plus, since both my kids have allergies. I do wish they had a playground, but the pool keeps the kids entertained.
I stayed in their suites for 2 nights, and decided I loved the setup enough to move in. I just wish they had longer lease terms… I would sign for 5 years if they let me.

I have lived here for 14 months and I really enjoy it. My apartment is perfect for my needs and it is a great value. The area is great and everything I need is very close. The office staff and maintenance people are very nice and always helpful. Until I purchase a house, Springhill will remain my home. I would recomend this property to everyone.
