Review for Northgate Apartments

ACROSS THE STREET FROM A HOMELESS SHELTER. I lived here for 1 year and had many horrible experience's. The management staff will tell you when you move in how safe and secure the building is how they have police patrol the outside and how their security staff will respond quickly to any problems and will even walk you from your car to the front door if you call. Don't beleive it. 2 months after moving in 3 of my 4 roomates cars windows had been smashed and their stereo's stolen when we called security no one picked up or returned our messages. When we went to the office to complain we were told their security only patroled inside the building. I asked "so if I was being attacked right outside this window and a security guard was standing inside watching, they wouldn't be required to help me? and the office manager replied "They might intervene." They are pretty but way over-priced for the high crime and how unsafe you feel to walk out side.
