Review for Greens At Falls Run Apartments

I was told I’d get new black appliances and marble tops with my unit. This did not end up being true, but because I am not picky, I let it go. It still reflects badly on them to mislead.

My 1st day here, I came in to find the closets were on the floor (they had fallen because they were poorly installed), the smoke detector was uninstalled, the carpet was filthy and the previous tenants had left personal effects in the bathroom, including toiletries and pubes. I assume it was a man of a very hairy brunette woman. The maintenance people are sweet but not the brightest. They have no attention to detail, so expect to do some cleaning on your first day.

Then management changed. A new maintenance person once showed up to fix a clog that was fixed the day before. I hesitated to open my door at first because he looked like a crack or meth addict. My dogs felt his presence was a bit threatening as well, so they bark at him. His reaction? Throw kick moves at the air! (Yeah buddy, that will calm them down.) They bark louder. He then has the nerve to ask me “are you going to do something about your dogs?” To which I try to explain it is hard when he is threatening to hurt them. No sense in talking to a brick wall. I hope never to see him around again.

Anyway, this is temporary for me. In comparison to other apartments in the area for this price range, I guess it is just “OK” if you can't afford anything else. I would not recommend this for long-term living unless the new management improves this place.

By the way, there are very few vents in the units, so be prepared to feel very cold in the winter!
