Review for Eos-21 Apartments

This apartment is typical of the Wash-DC area, expect to pay a high price for a low standard of living but expect to have problems! The management's Mr. Johnson and his cohort Jacob are who you will be dealing with as they are in the process of converting the units to condos, they think nothing of ripping out the laundry rooms and shutting of essential services like the elevator for 8 weeks without notice and without regard to the residents needs; the management is currently doing this to several buildings now affecting hundreds of residents. They do this in such a way as to entrap the residents- once the elevators are turned off how do the residents who live above the first floor move out ? If they want to move they are stuck paying rent on a unit they cannot leave. When you call them and ask for assistance the EOS-21 people play the typical smoke and mirror game saying your issue was given over to the property management company- then you get "I am sorry they did not take care you, we fired them and they are no longer here" Then they tell you your problem no longer needs their attention. They are simply here to take your money. There are enough problems here that many of the residents may file a class action suit very soon. Be prepared to file complaints with the State of Virginia and get a lawyer if you decide to live here. This is an honest review posted today 3/18/2006- if you do not believe this is going on then come bldg A, D,E,H anytime through now and June 2, 2006 and see for your self. By the way this writer is contacting everyone from the Governors office to the NAACP about EOS-21 of Alexandria, Va. and the crooked people who run this place.
