I've lived here for about 6 months, through the management change and all. I must say I've never run into any of the problems previous posters have listed. I have never felt unsafe here, outside or in my apartment. It's always very quiet (no crazy people screaming or trying to kill people), the only loud noise are the helicopters - usually military, about once or twice a week. The office staff for the apartments is ok - I usually deal with one guy who is really good, the other lady isn't so helpful. The parking spaces are small, and the trash area can get very overfull - but sometimes people dumping the entire contents of their apartments when they move can cause this. The key of the maintenance people is to call their office directiy - don't go through the management office. I've never had a problem getting maintenance jobs done or getting someone to come let me in after I've locked myself out (twice, both after hours).
It's an apartment complex in an urban area. There are things that are less than ideal, but overall I plan to renew my lease as long as the rent isn't crazy.
