Review for Mt. Vernon Square Apartments

laundry rooms are moldy and stink. washers and dryers are dirty. cleaning folks throw soapy water on concrete floor and leave it there. chicken wire storage bins in dirty basement. no outgoing mail receptacles in buildings. supposed to leave it on top of box or mailman won't take it. i have actually had my mail opened by someone. roaches. security and office don't care about noise control. wild parties never get stopped. if you don't answer the door for maintenance they will just come in. they have keys so be sure to put the chain on the door. they also come in when you're not home. if you call to speak to anyone in the office and they are not in you can leave a message and it will never get returned. they are just now starting to put in trash bins, but that is after they tried to establish a fine for people putting their trash out during hours not suitable for them. all in all this is the most horrible place to live on this planet. not even fit for the roaches that take up regular residence here. i know this review is long but i hope it helps you not to make the decision to live here.
