Review for Mt. Vernon Square Apartments

I moved out on 11/30/05 which by the way was actually 18 days over 1 year (they calculate based on the end of the month no matter when you move in). My rent was going to go up almost $100 dollars a month! They charge for every little thing and no utilities are included. ROACHES, ROACHES, ROACHES. They finally have dumpsters but they pick the trash up like once a week so there is garbage all over the ground anyway. The leasing office staff, especially maintenance are a joke. My apartment was entered by someone who had to have a key. I came home early and they ran out of the patio door. Who do you think that was with a key!!! The apts were not the least bit concerned when I let them know someone had been in my apt...Security does not patrol. It is not safe there. They lost my 60 day notice to vacate and the letter I wrote and tried to charge me for December rent. Walls are paper thin, neighbors are inconsiderate. YOU WILL NOT LIKE IT...DON'T DO THIS TO YOURSELF!!!
