Review for The Aspen Apartments

Well, we loved the price too. The staff sells this rental as a fairy tale, nice and clean, close and cheap. Then comes reality. The whole remodeling of the outside of the building starts, right about beginning of winter... So, towards february, we were all suffering from stress disorders cause we couldn't sleep on our apartments from 8am to 5 pm every day on the week. The closer the workers got to your porch, you could hear the drilling on the concrete harder and louder, until they started drilling on your porch and you had to leave your apartment and only come back after 5pm. We do understand that it is necessary, the building is old, bla bla bla... They SHOULD have warned people, especially the ones who are looking for renting, that they were planning on doing that kind of disturbance in their costumers life. Well, this remodeling is still going on, from november to may now , it looks almost done, but you can never gess. Another: They told me that I could use the party room for "gathering" people and food.. Now I cant have a kids party there, with cake and balloons, only because they DONT WANT TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THAT" . Its easier to say NO, that you decide to NO. The building has a license from alexandria city saying how many people the room supports and others specifications. Now we will get the pool. Lets see how this will work. They think only because they have a fairly cheap rent, they can treat us like kids.
