for management abilities. She is rude and antagonistic. Her assistants, anxious to secure her favor, play monkey see monkey do all day long.
Repairs that involve contractors can take as long as 6 years. Even the balcony repairs where the damage wold be sufficient to cause bodily injury to residents and employees can take up to two years. The dawn to dusk lights are inadequate and in some cases inoperable. Since no managers live on site, it is of no concern to them. Requests for service are met with eviction threats and actual no-fault evictions, a commonwealth gift to landlords (property ownership being the all-consuming idol of the legislature).

However, it would be well if Alexandria City performed a complete electrical service inspection, particularly in the garden or sardine can section, where repairs can consist of fuze bypass wiring, because they have no electrical contractor. The status of the dusk to dawn lights might also be reviewed.

The health department should be tasked with determining actual occupancy complex wide as it would appear that these facilities support more than 4 times the number of residents originally planned.

And Homeland Security should do a building by building review of actual residents, since many do not appear to have car insurance, as exemplified by the number of "hit and run" property damage incidents (my cars have been hit 4 times, with total damage exceeding 3000.00, not to mention the broken windows- for the SUV - at 500.00 a pop) for which no notes are left. My insurance covered my repairs under the uninsured drivers provision. And as far as I know, I'm the only resident who has called police in these instances. And, in fact, it was a police officer who explained to me the problem that drivers, whose cars are registered improperly in third party names, have accessing insurance even if the pay for it.

Maanagement takes no responsibility for the parking lots and driveways as they have told me countless times. However, these areas are under the same ownership as the apartments, implying some responsibility just from ownership.

The most common responses from the management are "that's not true" to any reported deficiency and "that's not our responsibility" when plausible deniability finally fails.

it seems that residents are have begun to move out at night again, either to escape or to comply with the no-fault evictions the manager is so fond of using.

Even if you put up with all the crap, honor all manager's requests and pay the rent and utilities, if she decides you've had too many service requests (even when some are provably 6 years old), she runs straight for that no-fault eviction.

I was taught from quite a young age that it is rude and unhelpful to demonstrate your comtempt or disrespect for the source of your income, the way this manager acts towards tenants.
