Office staff is friendly. Building is very well maintained. The rooftop garden is very nice as well and maintained year round. Noise is low. The washer and dryer on the floor usually work well, but there have been periods where they've been broken on and off for weeks at a time despite multiple reports to the laundry company. Parking is also not a problem, there have only been one or two times when I had to park on the far end (from my unit) on the parking lot, and never out on the street. Cop lives in the building and everyone gets his pager number (although I've never had to use it) so that is good for security. I honestly can't say I've ever felt unsafe living here. The only downside is this stretch of Columbia Pike is rather boring if you like to get out, you'll be walking (takes me 10-15 minutes), busing, or driving to pentagon city to shop or jump on metro to go into the city to have fun. But other than that you're minutes away from driving to DC or route 50, 395, etc. I hear rent is going up, so we'll see what happens in a few months when the lease is up, but as of right now this place is awesome. Also, FIOS is now available in each unit, if you want an alternative to the horrible Comcast service.
