We rented through National Corporate Housing. We were given the wrong apartment (not the floor plan I agreed to--this one feels like a box). The carpets were stained including crusted food. The walls had marks all over in all rooms...some appeared to be greasy. The dishes were dirty, including dried on food, broken spatulas, a cookie sheet in the oven that still showed where the last batch had been baked. Cleanliness was the least of what I expected, and certainly did not get. Getting the management to clean it was a headache. The fireplace did not work, and still doesn't after months. The maintance man came, scraped it, and left, it worked for 20 minutes, we reported it several times, and were consistently told "maybe next week." It's still not working several weeks after the last time we were told this. Trying to fall asleep with the screaming baby behind our heads is a treat, as is the people who seem to love to bang and stomp over our heads for hours at night. The cleaning staff and maintence crews have a habit of walking in rather than knocking and waiting to be admitted entry. The front desk staff would prefer to continue personal phone conversations...that you are privy to listen to while waiting for their attention, than addressing your concerns. When they do set the phone aside for a moment to speak to you, they are rude and apparently do not follow through putting in work orders (see fireplace issue). Avoid this location if you expect cleanliness, courtesy, and sleep.
