Apartment Review for Avalon At Arlington Square

I have lived here for 2 years and it is not all that it seems. The managment staff has changed they they really don't care much about you. Their customer service manager Tim is wonderful, everyone else can get lost. They will not negiotiate rent AT ALL and charge way more than they should. They give you a great deal when you move in, but once your lease is up they really go after you and increase the rent by $120 a month. My apartment needs to have the carpet changed really bad and when I asked for the carpet to be replace before I moved in they at first agreed and then refused to replace it. When I asked again when my 1 year lease was up, they said they would replace it but if there were any sports I would be charged $1500 for the replacement.

It is a pet friendly community, but be prepared to poo around the property and dog pee on the stairs.

My apartment has also had a cronic problem with bugs. I have had constant spiders and these little black rolly polly things in my apartment. I have asked to spray and the reply I got was these bugs wont hurt you. I have never lived in a place with so many bugs. I kill about 3 spiders a day.

The place is not all that bad, just needs some attention and better managment.
