Apartment Reviews for Berkeley - Arlington

Berkeley Apartments is situated on S. Glebe Road, close to plenty of public transportation. There's a shopping center in the neighborhood where tenants can grocery shop at the Giant, stop at the BB&T bank, and get a work out at Gold's Gym. Residents enjoy attractions like the Lang Street Community Gardens and Troy Park. Tenants can go to the Gunston Community Center where a number of activities are offered. There are currently no reviews of the complex as of February 2013.

I lived at the Berkeley Apartments for 21 years from 1980 to 2001. Generally, the experience was good. I had a studio for 15 years and then moved to a 1 bedroom where I lived for 6 years before buying a house in Washington DC.

I enjoyed my time at the Berkeley. Management was nice (I remember Ms. Arnold) and of course the convenience of the shopping center across the street and close in to transportation and other community amenities.

The rent was also reasonable for me at the time. Now the rents are more than my 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house in Washington DC.
