Under Archstone, avoid at all costs


A great building under Charles E. Smith from 1966 into 21st Century when Archstone bought out Smith. Straight downhill from there. Regular crime incidents. No security. Invisible management. Rental increases even while they jackhammer your outside walls. Arrogant Archstone staff. Slovenly interior appearance. Hallway curtains stolen and never replaced. Great location if you do not mind being ripped off at every turn. Charles E. Smith would turn over in his grave.
