they don't care at all about the residents here// there are about 350 cars in the parking lot and nobody tried at least to clean it of snow// all the cars are stuck // don't move in this place

My worse complaint is that management was unorganized, but even those situations where easily corrected. My next complaint is my car got dinged quite a bit in the parking lot, but there is plenty of parking so you can park further out if you need to. No washer or dryer in the units, but the prices reflect that, the community laundry rooms are fine. The gym is decent; the TVs w/ cable on the cardio equipment are a plus. There are not very many machines, but the gym doesn't get much usage, I never had to wait too long for a machine. I had no bugs, it was quiet, the people are respectable and friendly, not pretentious or low lives. Metro is easily accessible, approx 6 minute bus ride to Pentagon and Pentagon City metro station. The hallways are being renovated so the place looks better each day. I'd choose to live here again.

I moved into Dominion Towers in April 2005. Overall I can't say that the community is horrible but does have lots of room for improvement. Recently the building was purchased by another company, and the rents were immediately increased to "market value." The problem is that over the past 6 months, I've noticed how dirty the interior of the building has become. Writing on walls, paint chipped in halls, by elevators, filthy basement entry way, dirty carpeting and very musty smelling. They consider their units renovated by gutting the kitchen and resurfacing the tubs and adding a new cabinet in the bath. Overall, it's a quiet place to live, but I see more and more rifraf living here, and the owners aren't using the increased rent to clean up the place.

There are a couple of things I don't like: 1) The leasing office staff: it sucks. The girls are always in bad mood and are not diligent. 2) The management is trying to improve elevator and hallways and residents never care about new paint projects going on; 3) There is no security cams. We should have a 24 hours guard on site.; 4) The management should provide tenants with at least one parking permit for visitors that last for a month, that will make tenants stop visiting the leasing office every four days to renew their visitor's passes. In overall, I haven't experienced major things. I live on the top floor, no noise, great view, my hallway doesn't smell and elevators are always working. There was only one time that due to a storm the whole community and nearby buildings lost power, and of course, there were no elevators...but I am happy and I think I 'll be renewing my lease for the following years. The maintenance guys are quite resposible and nice people...always are very helpful and they make themselves available all the time. I will recommend this building among others.

You get a lot of space for the price here, but you won't exactly feel you are coming home to a palace with peeling paint on the basement walls and ceiling and a reliably wreched smell that floods the halls. Management is slightly unfriendly and cold but maintenance is pretty responsive and good inside individual units. Noise levels are low except for the construction done on the building which can begin as early as 8am. Convenient location, despite being at least a mile from the metro rail, and easy living.
